Hands Across the Bridge is an annual event that celebrates recovery from drug and alcohol abuse. On Labor Day people from Oregon and Washington join hands all across the I-5 bridge between Portland and Vancouver. PHOENIX held key roles last year, providing security, stories from the stage and an emcee. This year is no different. PHOENIX members were integral to planning the event, and our own Willy Smith will emcee again. PHOENIX, in conjunction with AIM (American Indian Movement) will again provide safety and security.

Oxfest starts shortly afterward and is held at Esther Short Park, 8th and Columbia, Vancouver.
