PHOENIX RISING Transitions is a member of Metropolitan Alliance for Common Good (MACG), an aggregate of local institutions that includes faith-based groups, community organizations, churches, and unions.

MACG provides opportunities for ex-convicts to make positive connections with community through their Leadership Training for Public Life (LTPL). PHOENIX models its RCS courses in prison on this training. Advanced trainings are available at the regional and national level through the Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF). MACG institutions join together to work for change on interests common to its members, such as healthcare and affordable housing. PRT members have taken significant leadership roles, both in the trainings and two MACG Annual Assemblies.
